current mood: i dont want to work today!

THREE YEARS AND TEN MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY!!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!  <3

on another note, today nathan and i took our barker boo to the vet...she was sooooooo good!!!  she had to get a shot, but just one this time and she was perfect for it, didnt move at all!  then she had to get her ears checked because they have been a little stinky lately...turns out she has a ball of wax in her left ear :o(  so we have to put this ear cleansing solution in her ear once a day for a week and its supposed to get her to play with her ears, and shake her head which will make the wax come out.  she also had to get her anal glands expressed...yuck!  they stink!  haha they were clogged up a little bit which is why she leaks sometimes, but shes all good now.  the doctor said they werent clogged up too much at all, so that was good.  that was really all they did to her, except they weighed her and she weighs 19.6 pounds!!!!!  he said she needs to lose AT LEAST one pound because when dachshunds are overweight they are more likely to have back problems, and we cant have that. all in all it was an awesome visit for her.  she was super good and i love her too freaking much! so i have all day off from work and nathan and i are just spending the day together! <3 and later tonight we meet up with the crew...im stoked on today!

so yesterday was ARMOR FOR SLEEP DAY! lol me, nathan, steve and allie all went to saratoga to see armor for sleep, recover, and say anything. and it was absolutely amazing!  it was seriously one of the best shows ive been to.  armor for sleep is phenomenal live!  they gave me chills.  kind of like the movielife used to do, but the movielife is still my all time favorite live band.  anywho, we left rochester at like 230 by the time we got done getting our munchies and all...and since we had jeff gordon aka nathan behind the wheel, we got there in record time.  haha we found the venue and there was like five kids waiting outside already but the doors clearly didnt open for a while, so we decided to go find a mcdonalds, and when we did...we all decided we didnt really want mcdonalds, so nate went potty and we left.  we saw this hill by the venue and there was a fire on it, so steve's bright idea was to "go see the fire"...so we go down this long curvy road and it turns out we were by a power plant of some kind, and it smelled awful! there were like a million torches or whatever they were lit on this hill, they were like outlining this hill. i tried to tell everyone that it was a cult of some kind or something, but then we found the power plant. haha  the best part was we couldnt find anywhere to turn around so we went down this road for like 3 miles until we found another street it intersected with.  we finally get off that road and decide its best to just sit and wait in the car at the venue.  while we're waiting these two girls and one guy pull up next to us and we are all looking over at them and allison goes "eww, they look annoying"  haha steve thought that was pretty funny that she could tell people were annoying just by looking at them.  when we saw people going into the venue we got out and went to wait in the long line, but then allison and i were like "i think that other line is the ticket line" so i went to ask and sure enough, we got to walk right in while all the other losers had to stand outside and wait for another half hour.  and trust me, they were losers!!!!!  allison and i thought rochester was bad, well let me tell ya...saratoga sucks!  these kids need help, im telling ya! the way these people were dressed, and every single kid who bought merch last night put it on right away! i hate when people do that!!! its so lame.  so the first hour we were there we pretty much ripped everyone apart. haha gotta love us.  lets see, the next highlight of the evening would have to be when nathan saw gabe from midtown. i guess hes armor for sleep's manager or something??? thats what nathan said he heard...anyway, it was time for say anything except instead of say anything right away we got to see gabe from midtown play acoustic!!!!!  i was super excited! i love midtown and it was amazing! definitely a nice surprise addition to the show.  he played a couple songs, then say anything came out.  and sure enough, they played every song i wanted to hear! i was stoked on it!  they were pretty good, and i pictured them to look way different.  at least the singer anyway.  then came recover! they were pretty damn good too.  and pretty fugly as well.  although allison will beg to differ about the fugly part since she thinks dan keyes is the hottest thing that has ever walked this earth. GROSS!(<---or as steve was saying all night, "EXIMA, GROSSSSS!"hahaha)  hes got some funny hand motions, its almost like he thinks he is in a ghetto band, its pretty entertaining! no but seriously, they were really good until dan broke his guitar and couldnt play the last song, but thats okay.  then came mi favorita!.......ARMOR! as they apparently like to be called these days!  anyways, it was my first time seeing them and i was very impressed.  they are just so good.  they are so energetic, so exciting, and the singer gets so into his songs, its great!  good freakin stuff man.  and one of the guys parents was standing right next to me, nathan and allison.  they were so flippin cute!  the dad knew every word and he was rocking out.  it was so adorable!  anyway, when they were done nathan went over to say hi to the guys cause he hasnt seen them in a while so we waited on the side of the room without massive groups of people.  while we were waiting for nathan they played glasseater on the speaker system!  it was so great!  steve was like "hey who is this band? this band is amazing!!!!!" and i was like "omg its glasseater!!! everybody check out glasseater!!!"...we're so funny.  man, i love my friends.  i couldnt ask for better friends seriously.  i have so much fun with them all the time.  i dont know what i would do without my nathan <3, my allie, my wendy, and my steve-o!  thats right, those are my favorites! i love them all so much. :o)

so then we left the show around 11:15ish, we headed out to the thruway.  allison told me a "did you know" fact yesterday.  she said, "did you know we are already done paying off the thruway and they were supposed to stop charging people like two years ago, and they still charge???"....i did not know that, and to be honest, it disgusts me! okay, sorry that was off topic...we headed onto the thruway, and our first destination was somewhere to eat!  the first rest stop was nasty. it consisted of roy rogers and big boy...so that was obviously a hell no.  i passed out for about 45 minutes and we were just about to the next rest stop...i was stoked on that cause there was a dunkin!  but of course, there were no plain bagels at dunkin, actually no bagels that would have been good with an egg and cheese, so i got a croissant...NOT GOOD! i mean once i took the flaky outside off it was good, but it just wasnt fresh enough.  allison asked for french vanilla chai and got french vanilla coffee, nathan tried to get a snapple out of the machine and it got stuck, so him and steve were trying to shake it out and steve bought another to push it out, so nate's came out, but then steve's snapple got stuck! so they were shaking it again and the old lady that was working at dunkin (WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BACK MAKING MORE PLAIN BAGELS, but instead was sitting out at a table with her boyfriend!!! ugh!) went over and told them "dont shake the machines!"...gay. then we left dunkin and headed home.  i passed out pretty much the whole way home except for the few times i woke up to make sure nathan was doing okay driving, and he was...he was singing, clapping, drumming, the whole bit!  hes so damn cute!  he always puts a smile on my face! i love him so much.

we got to my house around 3:30, allie slept over and then since i had to work at 8:30 this morning, which is where i am now(so tired!)....i got about three hours of sleep.  and i want nothing more right now than to cuddle with my nathan <3  but i will just have to suck it up til i get out of here at 4:30...i can do it!

so yesterday was absolutely amazing!  i had to work all day which sucked, but it wasnt too bad cause i was in charge, but then it came time for everyone to balance and one of the girls(who happens to be on final warning for differences) was off $5.50.  and i couldnt just let her be off cause she'd get fired and i love her, haha...so we were trying to figure out where it was and before i knew it it was five oclock...nathan and i had reservations at seven and i still had to get him and shower and get ready!  by the time i got out of there it was 5:15 and then i headed out to get nathan.  we didnt get back to my house til 6 and i had about a half hour to get ready.  i did a damn good job though, and i looked freakin good.  haha at least thats what i was told by my valentine! <3 so we left for our dinner reservation...we went to p.f.changs!!!  mmmm!  hehe it was so cute. when we got there we had to wait a little bit for a table cause they can only do so much with reservations, but then they asked us if we wanted to sit in a more intimate section <3 and nathan said "yeah that'd be great actually"..hehe, how cute is that?!?!  then while we were eating, he was like "try eating with the chopsticks" and i tried it and he was trying to teach me, it was so cute!!! and then i was eating the chow mein with the chopsticks and hes like "take a big scoop and bite some off and then catch the rest with the chopsticks so you dont have to pick it up again" and im like alright...so i try it and i couldnt do it, i just kept sucking up the noodles! lol and he laughs and goes "you are so freakin cute" and he just looked into my eyes! <3 **sigh** i love how in love we are! <3  after dinner we werent sure what to do, we couldnt decide what movie to see and we couldnt figure out what else to do cause it was pouring rain outside...so we decided to just come back to my house and cuddle! <3 we layed together the whole night, and it was the best!  he said he has a plan for this weekend but im not allowed to know what it is.  i cant wait!!!  he makes me so happy and i could not imagine my life without him....this is what love is really all about.
